Amazon Associates Disclosure
MassageGunGuide.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
What this means in practice: When you click a product link on this site and make a qualifying purchase on Amazon, we may earn a small commission — typically 3–5% of the purchase price. This commission comes at no additional cost to you. You pay the same price whether you use our link or navigate to Amazon directly.
FTC Compliance
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 C.F.R. Part 255), we disclose our affiliate relationship on every page of this site via the banner at the top, and within articles that contain affiliate links.
How Affiliate Relationships Do NOT Affect Our Rankings
This is the part that actually matters to you as a reader:
- Commission rates are identical across products. Amazon pays the same percentage regardless of which massage gun you buy through our links. We have no financial incentive to recommend a $599 Theragun over an $89 Lifepro Sonic — both generate the same commission rate. Our recommendations are driven entirely by what the data says buyers prefer.
- We do not accept free products. We have never received a complimentary massage gun, attachment set, or any other product from any brand for the purpose of coverage or review. Our reviews are based entirely on aggregated buyer data, not personal testing of brand-provided units.
- We do not accept payment for placement. No brand, distributor, or manufacturer has paid us to be included in, ranked in, or featured in any guide on this site.
- Our informational articles contain no affiliate links. Our comparison article (Massage Gun vs. Foam Roller) and technique guide (How to Use a Massage Gun) contain no affiliate links. These articles exist solely to provide value to readers and build the authority of the site through genuinely useful content.
Why We Include Affiliate Links at All
Running an independent research site — pulling and analyzing hundreds of thousands of reviews, reviewing clinical literature, building and maintaining the site — requires resources. Affiliate commissions from reader purchases are the primary way this site sustains itself. The alternative would be sponsored content, paid placement, or advertising — all of which create stronger conflicts of interest than the affiliate model we use.
We believe the Amazon Associates model, when used with a data-first methodology and disclosed transparently, is the most honest way to operate an independent product recommendation site. If you ever feel our recommendations don't hold up to scrutiny, we want to hear about it: hello@massagegunguide.com.
